Triangle Stitch Belt & A Review

I have a new contributor pattern on Cre8tion Crochet! It goes along with my Triangle Stitch bags in that it is the same stitch used but this time I used a bulky yarn.

Here is what my testers had to say:

“This is a fantastic pattern that works up quickly with clear, easy to follow directions. Not only are color possibilities endless, one completed belt gives the wearer multiple choices in hardware placement for totally different ‘looks’. This is an accessory that will spice up any outfit!”

– Betty Lewis

“Such a fun pattern!! Triangles are so fun to create, simple and quick, yet pretty! I can use this pattern to create a belt to go with everything I wear! It’s versatile and can be worn in the front, on the side, in the back, up high, down low, anywhere you can think!!”

– Jennifer Hughes, Craft N Crazee

I love this pattern! It’s fun and works up quick! I love the style and there are endless color combinations!”

And now, on to the review!

My prototype worked in Cordial

A few months ago, Red Heart Yarns sent me some yarn. One of the yarns that they sent me was a couple balls of Cordial, which you can purchase HERE. If you have seen it, you know it is more like a cord than traditional yarn. There have been a couple designers that have used it for various things. I have seen a dog collar, a cadet cap and a pillbox style hat.

This product is good for holding its shape and would work really well for macrame as well. I also find myself wondering if it would work for a paracord style bracelet. Might have to try that!

I liked working with the Cordial even though it is different. I used Jazzy as my main color and Neon for the trim. These made the belt nice and sturdy and with the mix of colors that the Cordial has it will go with many different things. I haven’t washed the belt yet but think that it will stand up well to washing which is always a plus!

Do you want to know something in particular about Cordial? Ask me and if I can find the answer, I will let you know!
