Chetnanigans Product Review

Back in October with the Holiday Stashdown CAL 2015, Marie of Undergound Crafter did a designer spotlight when I contributed a pattern to the CAL. During that, I mentioned that I had several items from Chetnanigans on my holiday wishlist. I was so excited when, as a result of that, Holly of the husband and wife team that make up Chetnanigans contacted me to review a couple of their products. I picked the Broomstick Lace Pin/Tool and the SpinOff. The only compensation I received was the products and these are my own opinions.

Meet The Bubble Hook Maker – An Interview

I’m very please to provide y’all with a little peek at what it is like to be a clay hook maker. Kelli was kind enough to do an interview with me. I asked her some questions of my own and asked some that came from my Facebook page. One thing I do know, I didn’t ask her exactly how she makes her hooks. They are her art, and I wouldn’t ask an artist about their process even one who is a friend like Kelli is to me.

Meet My Testers: Pamela Emerson – Pammy’s Bare Beanie

****Any links to products in this post are affiliate links. I get a little bit when someone clicks through and orders. This helps me continue to bring new patterns to you.****

I often say (and truly mean it) that I would not be able to do what I do without my testers. So as a small thank you to them, I feature them here!

This time is the wonderful Pamela of Pammy’s Bare Beanie. She is an amazing lady and does so much for the crafting community. She shares posts, cheers designers and other crafters on and is one of the sweetest people I have met on this crochet journey of mine!

I asked her a few questions and here are her answers!

Meet My Testers: Sweet Potato Crochet Creations

Hello, everyone! I’m so happy to introduce myself to you all.

My name is Carol Rupprecht, and I’m a stay at home mommy to 2 crazy boys: my toddler who is one

Meet My Testers: Hollie Bobo

As I said earlier this week, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without my marvelous testers. They help me to make sure that my patterns are what they should be before I release them for the public to use. The first one that I am going to highlight is the wonderful Hollie! She is my right hand with my pattern test lab. I love working with her, and we recently found out that we were born only 3 days apart! So here is Hollie and a little bit about her in her own words:

Support Small Businesses, Part 2

Monday on my Facebook page I posted asking for ten small businesses to tag their shop and I would look through their photos and share my favorites. Yesterday I shared five of them here. I think that it is important to promote other small businesses. We all do what we do for basically the same reasons: to bring in the little bit extra, to be able to stay home with kids, to help support our families and because we love what we do.

Support Small Businesses

Yesterday on my Facebook page I posted asking for ten small businesses to tag their shop and I would look through their photos and share my favorites. I think that it is important to promote other small businesses. We all do what we do for basically the same reasons: to bring in the little bit extra, to be able to stay home with kids, to help support our families and because we love what we do.

Here are the first five businesses that I featured yesterday on my page and their photos. I will share the other five tomorrow. DISCLAIMER: These photos belong to the business named and do not belong to me. They have been told that their page and pics would be shared on my blog post.
