Chetnanigans Product Review

Back in October with the Holiday Stashdown CAL 2015, Marie of Undergound Crafter did a designer spotlight when I contributed a pattern to the CAL. During that, I mentioned that I had several items from Chetnanigans on my holiday wishlist. I was so excited when, as a result of that, Holly of the husband and wife team that make up Chetnanigans contacted me to review a couple of their products. I picked the Broomstick Lace Pin/Tool and the SpinOff. The only compensation I received was the products and these are my own opinions.

Twisted Treasures Stitch Tutorial

I love browsing for different stitches or coming up with my own combinations and have so much fun creating designs that I hope y’all enjoy as much as I enjoy creating them. I will often find a stitch and then tweak it a bit to get the look exactly how I want it which is what I did with the stitch that I am using in my Twisted Treasures line of patterns. The boot cuffs are available as my contribution to Cre8tion Crochet but I decided to create a stitch tutorial post for the 3 rows that have places that could be tricky. For this design I used Knit Picks Mighty Stitch which is one of their new yarns. I will tell you more about that later!

Lilla Rose Giveaway and a Review

I discovered Lilla Rose almost a year ago when Cre8tion Crochet did a review on her blog. I often wear my hair up or want it pulled back from my face but was really getting tired of barrettes, scunis, elastics and claws. A few months after the review, I was FINALLY able to try them and I absolutely fell in love and have never looked back.

Adaptations to a Stocking Pattern

This post is part of the Christmas in July~Hanukkah in the Heat Blog Hop Special Event.

I shared some of my favorite Christmas patterns last Christmas season and this was one of the ones I shared. A customer wanted stockings and when I was sending her pictures for options, she fell in love with this one but wanted it longer and wanted names at the top. So I made some pattern adaptations and decided to share what I did and my results! I still need to make 2 more for my customer and will be starting on them soon. If you would like to order some, I am offering a discount for orders placed by July 24th.

You can buy the pattern here from Schere Wade, who is the designer. I absolutely enjoyed this pattern. It is well written with a diagram for the layout and works up fairly quickly. It was really easy for me to take this on the go and work on it a little bit at a time. Here is her original design.

Triangle Stitch Belt & A Review

I have a new contributor pattern on Cre8tion Crochet! It goes along with my Triangle Stitch bags in that it is the same stitch used but this time I used a bulky yarn.

Here is what my testers had to say:

“This is a fantastic pattern that works up quickly with clear, easy to follow directions. Not only are color possibilities endless, one completed belt gives the wearer multiple choices in hardware placement for totally different ‘looks’. This is an accessory that will spice up any outfit!”

– Betty Lewis

“Such a fun pattern!! Triangles are so fun to create, simple and quick, yet pretty! I can use this pattern to create a belt to go with everything I wear! It’s versatile and can be worn in the front, on the side, in the back, up high, down low, anywhere you can think!!”

– Jennifer Hughes, Craft N Crazee

I love this pattern! It’s fun and works up quick! I love the style and there are endless color combinations!”

– Michele Orr, Michele’s Divine Crochet

You can find the pattern for my Triangle Stitch Belt HERE on Cre8tion Crochet.
